Forsinard
Forsinard is a hamlet in the region of Sutherland in the Highland area of Scotland. It is located on the A897 road in Strath Halladale. It is served by a train on the Far North Line. The neighborhood hotel closed several years earlier, but there is now a b & b just throughout the level going across. Forsinard is positioned in the Flow Country, a location of peat bog which straddles the boundaries of Caithness and Sutherland. The 13,000-hectare (33,000-acre) Fosinard estate was acquired in 1977 by Basil Baird. The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds runs a 154 km2 (38,000-acre) nature get and also a site visitor centre at Forsinard. The Forsinard Flows nationwide nature book brings in a large series of birds as well as wild animals.
