Rogart
Rogart is a little village in Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. The village was the house of Major Andrew MacDonald, that combated in the French and also Indian War. It was initially a spread crofting village, up until the opening of the Rogart train station at Pittentrail 1 1/2 miles (2.4 kilometres) to the southeast. A more recent commercial town grew after the arrival of the train in 1886, with the older village staying. The village of Golspie is 9 miles (14 kilometres) east of Rogart.
