Newton Stewart
Newton Stewart is a previous burgh community in the historical county of Wigtownshire in Dumfries as well as Galloway, southwest Scotland. The town is on the River Cree with most of the town to the west of the river, and also is often described as the "Gateway to the Galloway Hills". The main neighborhood industries are agriculture, forestry and also tourist. The town hosts a neighborhood market, and a number of services to support the farming industry. There are numerous mountain cycling trails in the location. Newton Stewart rests on the southern side of the Galloway Forest Park, which supplies many tasks to the community. Newton Stewart FC, nicknamed the "Creesiders" play in the South of Scotland league, their ground is called Blairmount Park.
