Cleator Moor
Cleator Moor is a town, civil parish as well as 2 electoral wards (north as well as south) in the English area of Cumbria and within the limits of the historical county of Cumberland. The community's skyline is controlled by Damage Fell and also the community is located on the 190 miles (310 kilometres) Coastline to Coast Walk that spans Northern England. On the outskirts of the town of Cleator Moor lies the village of Cleator with which the town is very closely associated. As a settlement of note, it was significantly populated by immigrants from the North Eastern regions of Ireland in the latter half of the 19th century, resulting in the colloquial title of Little Ireland. With the decline of conventional markets as well as the resulting high rate of unemployment, the community's economic situation is currently based on the neighboring Sellafield facility, which offers work to around half the community's individuals.
