Fleetwood
Fleetwood is regarded as a town within the Wyre district of Lancashire, England, resting on the northwest location of the Fylde. It had a population of 26,840 people in the 2001 Census. It forms an element of the Greater Blackpool conurbation. The town was the first scheduled community of the age. For a lot of of the 20th century, Fleetwood was a notable deep-sea fishing port, although, since the 1970s, the fishing industry has declined precipitously and the town has gone through economic difficulties. Fleetwood is also a beachfront resort, being a relaxing comparison to nearby Blackpool.
