Barnoldswick, frequently known as Barlick, is a town and civil parish within the English county of Lancashire. Near the county border with North Yorkshire, it is just outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town is next to Weets Hill, and Stock Beck, a tributary of the River Ribble, may be observed running through the town. Based on the 2011 Census, the town has a resident population of 11005. It is situated around 30 miles (48 kilometres) from the cities of Leeds, Manchester and Preston. Close by towns include Skipton towards the east, Clitheroe to the west, Burnley to the south and Keighley towards the southeast.
