Replacement of existing decking
Wooden decking is an increasingly common option for creating outdoor seating areas in gardens. Due to the natural beauty of wood, they can be very beautiful spaces that can be used year round with the addition of external heating and lighting. Wooden decking is usually fitted in locations in front of patio or French doors where they can create a seamless transition between inside and outside spaces. Wooden decking can come in any size or shape to match any area. Curved designs or large areas linked by pathways can produce an attractive effect. Wooden decking is fairly quick to install and causes little disruption, especially in comparison to alternatives like patio or paving. It could even be installed over the top of a pre-existing patio. It is vital however to be certain that your wooden decking is structurally sound and capable of taking the weight of any furniture or plants that you would like to use on the decking. There is a selection of varieties of wood that can be used in wooden decking. Normally decking is constructed from hardwood, but there are softwoods available that fulfil the durability specifications. As hardwood decking will need maintenance, which generally involves annual cleaning and staining for weather proofing, composite woods have become popular for use in wooden decking because they are stronger and require significantly less maintenance.
The typical cost of Wooden decking is £1500. Costs can change based upon the materials and the firm hired. The upper price range can be as high as £1725. The material costs are commonly approximately £375

Abercastle is a village in the Welsh speaking area of Pembrokeshire, Wales. It has a working harbour which Abercastle Boat Owners Association cares for. It is an old trading harbour which exported slate, grain, limestone, butter, honey, corn and coal.
Abercastle harbour was the landing site of Alfred Johnson, the first person to make a lone Atlantic crossing. He landed at Abercastle in August 1876, sixty days after setting off in Gloucester, Massachusetts. A commemorative plaque made of Welsh slate on the quay wall was opened by Johnson's grandson in 2003.
Half a mile west of Abercastle lies Carreg Samson, which is a 5000 year old Neolithic Burial Chamber and the site of more than 1000 burials. It has a cap stone 15 feet long and 9 feet wide supported on three upright stones. Locals called it Samson because of a legend that Samson put it in position with his little finger.
The wreck of the Leysian lies on the west side of the harbour, approximately 50m from the cliffs. It is popular with divers who say that lots of fish live in there. It's also thought that a small shark visits the wreckage.

Usually, slipperiness is caused by algae or dirt on top of the deck or terrace. A full cleaning treatment should restore the natural grip of the wood or stone. If slipperiness is a persistent problem, consider installing grip mats in high traffic areas of the deck.
