Stirling
Stirling is the smallest city in Scotland and possesses a population of only 45,750. The city keeps a lot of its historic significance and was constructed about a large fortress and medieval old town. Its city reputation is pretty new, only being granted in 2002 as part of the Queen's Golden Jubilee events. Even though the city does have a very traditional charm, Stirling has modernised in recent times and widened to accommodate an evergrowing populace.
