Bonnybridge
Bonnybridge is a little village in the Falkirk council area of Scotland. It is 4.0 miles (6.4 kilometres) west of Falkirk, 5.3 miles (8.5 kilometres) north-east of Cumbernauld and 8.3 miles (13.4 kilometres) south-southwest of Stirling. The town is located near the Bonny Water which goes through the community as well as lies north of the Forth and also Clyde Canal. To the south-east of Bonnybridge is an unspoiled area of the Antonine Wall, and the remnants of Rough Castle Ft, one of the most total of the surviving Roman fts of the wall. According to the 2001 Census, the population stands at 6,870 residents. Nonetheless, the Bonnybridge negotiation area, that includes Banknock, Denny, Dunipace and Haggs has a total population of around 24,370.
