Usk
Usk is a community and neighborhood in Monmouthshire, Wales, 10 miles (16 km) northeast of Newport. Town of Usk as well as River from Llanbadoc Rock; 1860. It is located on the River Usk, which is spanned by an arched stone bridge at the western entryway to the community. Usk Castle, above the community ignores, the ancient crossing factor. It developed as a tiny market town, with some sector consisting of the making of Japanware, and also with a significant prison built in 1841/2. Over the last few years Usk has become understood for its history of success in Britain in Bloom competitions, winning the Large Village award in 2005. The resident population of the community in 2001 was 2,318, increasing to 2,834 at the 2011 census.
