Cumnock
Cumnock (Cumnag in Gaelic) is a community in East Ayrshire, Scotland. The community sits at the confluence of the Glaisnock Water as well as the Lugar Water. There are three adjoining housing projects which exist simply outside the town borders, Craigens, Logan and also Netherthird, with the previous ironworks settlement of Lugar additionally just outside the town, contributing to a population of around 13,000 in the prompt location. A new housing development, Knockroon, was given preparation permission on 9 December 2009 by East Ayrshire Council.
