Michael & his team did an outstanding job on replacing all my guttering, soffits & fascia’s. Not often you come across an honest & professional trademan. Highly recommended & will definitely be using again in future. Thank you ????

Mike was great! He was quick to respond to initial messages. He Popped round the next the day on time, to see the job and was able to come back after a few days to complete the job. Fixed our problem, our guttering no longer leaks when it rains. Reliable and trustworthy. Definitely recommend!
Xcel was one of a number of companies that quoted for the work.. Michael explained what the problem was and how he thought the job should be approached, he pointed out a large area of corrosion in another section of the system and suggested an additional piece of work that could prevent further problems in the future, although he was clear the work did not need to be done at this time. As I could see corrosion was evident and understood that this would be necessary in the future I agreed that the work should be done at this time. Michael quoted a price for the original work and an additional charge for the extra work which was surprisingly way below what I was expecting. Michael arrived ahead of the arranged time on the day of the work, he was very professional throughout the job, very tidy and left the worksite as clean as when he started. He provided new guttering and downpipe, flushed the pipe to the drainage system and water tested his new work. Unfortunately there has been no rain since the repair to prove it's effectiveness however Michael has assured me that he will return in the unlikely event that there is a problem. In summary Xcel was not the cheapest quote but Michael was extremely clear with what he thought the problem was, I felt that he was knowledgeable and honest about further work that would be required in the future but didn't tout for custom. He arrived on site and got straight into the job and tidied up behind himself. Michael came across as honest reliable and conscientious I would not hesitate to use Xcel Roofing and Building again or to recommend them to anyone needing building work.
Prompt and always kept us informed. Went above and beyond by completing some additional works at no extra charge. Cleaned and tidied up before leaving site each day and no mess left behind on completion. Would definately recommend.
Michael and team turned up on the agreed date, worked really long hours to complete the job to high specification on time, took all our specific needs into account - all without fuss. Highly recommend them!
Very pleased with service and finished work.Michael was professional and phoned to let me know of a slight delay in his arrival.the job was completed quickly and well.
