Belvedere is a town of south east London, England in the London Borough of Bexley. It is positioned south east of Thamesmead and is found around 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Charing Cross. Belvedere was in Kent, and postally remains so. It was a part of the Municipal Borough of Erith prior to 1965 and development occurred before the Second World War, with substantial rebuilding after the Blitz.
