The lifetime of a solar panel depends on its quality and age. Generally, the older a solar panel gets, the less efficient it becomes. The majority of modern solar panels come with 20-30 year warranties, which means that they’ll stay at a good efficiency level for at least this long. Some panels can stay efficient for as long as 40 years, while others won’t last this long.
Barnehurst
Barnehurst is a town and district in South East London in the London Borough of Bexley. It's north east of Bexleyheath, and is 13 miles east south-east of Charing Cross. It's separated from North Bexleyheath by the A220 Erith Road.
The town was established after the sale of land in 1881 to develop the Bexleyheath loop line between Lewisham and Dartford. Its name derives from the name of the railway station, which was named after Colonel Barne, who owned a nearby house and was vice-chairman of the railway company. Right now, the railway station runs trains between London Charing Cross, London Victoria or London Cannon Street, through Lewisham and Eltham to the west and Dartford railway station towards the east. There are 12 trains per hour for the duration of the week; on Sundays, there are four trains an hour. The railway station was openedto stimulate the development of houses. The Barnehurst Estate was built in 1926 which housed a lot of people.
As well as the railway station, Barnehurst is served by five buses, one of which goes to the popular Bluewater Shopping Centre. There are limited buying or leisure opportunities inside the town, so people typically visit surrounding places making use of public transport links or the primary roads.
Barnehurst is house towards the non-league football club Phoenix Sports FC, which plays at Phoenimx Sports Ground.
