Liskeard
Liskeard is an old stannary and market town and civil parish in south east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Liskeard is positioned approximately 20 miles (32 km) west of Plymouth, 14 miles (23 km) west of the River Tamar and also the boundary with Devon, and also 12 miles (20 kilometres) east of Bodmin. The community is at the head of the Looe valley in the ancient hundred of West Wivelshire as well as has a population of 9,417. Liskeard was the base of the previous Caradon District Council and also it still has a town council. There are 3 wards in Liskeard (consisting of Dobwalls). The complete population at the 2011 census was 11,366. In 1974 Liskeard was twinned with Quimperlé (Kemperle) in Brittany, France.
