Rochester
Rochester is a town and former city within the unitary authority of Medway in South East England. It's at the lowest linking point of the River Medway approximately 30 miles (48 km) from London. The town was for quite a while the favored of Charles Dickens, who lived nearby at Gads Hill Place, Higham, and who centered many of his novels in the region.
