Blaydon-on-tyne
The town of Blaydon-on-Tyne is situated in the North East of England in the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead. It was traditionally in County Durham. Referring to the 2011 Census, the town has a population of 15,000, which is a large increase from the roughly 14,648 residents recorded in the 2001 Census. Blaydon underwent an extensive programme of housing regeneration between 2009 and 2014.
