Llanon
Llanon is a village in Ceredigion, Wales. It adjoins the town of Llansantffraid on the coastline of Cardigan Bay, 5 mi (8.0 kilometres) north of Aberaeron and also 11 miles (18 kilometres) south of Aberystwyth on the A487 road. It is situated on an increased beach. The village is called after the church of Saint Non (llan-Non), the mommy of Saint David. By custom, St David was brought up in Llanon. The electoral ward that includes Llansantffraid had a population of 2,386 in 2011.
