Otley
Otley is a market town and civil parish at a bridging point on the River Wharfe in the City of Leeds urban borough in West Yorkshire, England. Typically an area in the West Riding of Yorkshire, the town can be found in lower Wharfedale on the A660 dual carriageway connecting it to Leeds. It is about 28 miles from York, 10 miles northwest of Leeds, 10 miles northeast of Bradford and 196 miles from London. Its position at the River Wharfe means that it is surrounded by arable farmland, alongside being the home of a 7 arched mediaeval bridge. To the town's east and west are flooded gravel pits, which have been used to draw out gravel in the 20th century.
