Abbey Wood
Abbey Wood is an area of South East London within the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley. It gets its name from Lesnes Abbey Wood, which used to be the property of the monks of Lesnes Abbey. It is located south of Thamesmead and is 10.6 miles east of Charing Cross. Abbey Wood features a population of a little under 24,000 and is said to be a quiet region.
