In most areas, you will not need planning permission. However, if the property is listed or in a conservation area, you will need listed building consent or planning permission to paint the exterior. A surveyor or architect's advice will be invaluable as they can help with this process.
Kyle
Kyle of Lochalsh is a village in the historic area of Ross-shire on the northwest coast of Scotland, located around 55 miles (90 km) west-southwest of Inverness. It is located on the Lochalsh peninsula, at the entrance to Loch Alsh, opposite the village of Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye. The village is the transport and also mall for the area as well as having a harbour and marina with pontoons for maritime site visitors. The bordering landscapes and wildlife are considered attractions of the town, as is the slow-moving pace of life.
