Invergarry
Invergarry (population 438) is a village in the Highlands of Scotland. It remains in the Great Glen, near where the River Garry flows right into Loch Oich. Near the centre of the village is the joint between the A82 road (from Inverness to Ft William) and the A87 road which branches off to the west towards Skye. The wrecked Invergarry Castle is situated near the town on Creagan an Fhithich (the Raven's Rock), overlooking Loch Oich. In addition to playing host to the regional shinty club, Glengarry Shinty Club, it is the house town of shinty tale, James Clark. It has a Primary School with a roll of 33.
