South Ockendon
South Ockendon is a town and also Church of England parish in the Thurrock borough and unitary district in Essex in the East of England, UK. It lies on the boundary with Greater London, simply outside the M25 motorway. The location to the north is North Ockendon. The plant was wound down slowly from the late 90's but shut entirely in 2004, when the last 150 work were shed.
