Belvedere is a town of south east London, England inside the London Borough of Bexley. It is situated south east of Thamesmead and is found approximately 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Charing Cross. Belvedere was in Kent, and postally remains so. It was part of the Municipal Borough of Erith prior to 1965 and improvement work occurred before the Second World War, with substantial rebuilding after the Blitz. In spite of this, Upper Belvedere as well as the Village still features a great deal of its Victorian and Edwardian appeal and character. Upper Belvedere is home to a church and a number of Victorian and Edwardian brick villas. It has numerous regular pubs, restaurants and retail outlets. These include The Eardley Arms on Woolwich Road, The Vic on Victoria Street, The Royal Standard in the centre of the village and the Fox in Belvedere village. Upper Belvedere also boasts a sizeable park and a library which was in danger of being closed down due to local government cuts. Thankfully closure threats have been averted as a result from the efforts from the local neighbourhood. A brand new 'Splash Park', which opened its doors in 2005, was a welcomed addition to the village, having been developed on the location of an old Victorian paddling pool. The splash park preserves some of the historically significant paddling pool architecture. From 1898 to 1961, Callender's Cable Works, at the Erith Works, was patron to Callender's Cableworks Band, an amateur brass band made up of workers from the company. The band was a popular broadcaster on BBC Radio in the 1920s and 1930s. For all your home upgrades, make sure that you select trusted experts in Belvedere to ensure that you get an excellent quality service.

You should report any suspected faults to your landlord as soon as you know about them. It is their responsibility to investigate, and hire an electrician to do any work if needed. Know your obligations as a tenant and keep in touch with your landlord on a regular basis.
Periodic testing and inspections should be completed: Every 10 years for your home, Every five years for rented accommodation, Every three years for a caravan, Every year for a swimming pool.Electrical inspections are also carried out when buying, selling or renting a property.
If your fuse box keeps tripping or blowing fuses, it may need replacing. Other signs that your fuse box is not working properly include humming, sparking and lack of power. Contact an electrician and ask for a safety report, this will diagnose the problem and lead to a quick fix.
How Much Does Pat Testing Cost?
When it comes to Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) there’s no particular rule that determines how much such services can cost. However as a rule of thumb, you should take note that when calling in a professional PAT testing company they’re likely to charge within the range of £1 to £3 per appliance that’s going to be tested. However, if you have quite a number of appliances to be tested, then there’s a good chance that the price per appliance can be reduced to serve as a bulk discount. So the more the appliances to be tested, the better.
There are companies that actually offer a pricing that’s below £1 per item, however companies likely are most definitely going to have a fixed minimum number of appliances that are required to be tested or a fixed minimum fee like 60 portable appliances. It must, however, be noted that pricing can also go beyond PAT Testing as several professional companies will add some additional advantages which is more than just the test of each individual appliance. This kind of pricing can include other services such as a thorough visual inspection, plug rewiring as well as fuse replacements. They can also include stuffs like Pail and Fail labels in the pricing.
Generally, the average price of PAT testing will be based on various influencing factors such as the type of the appliance, setting, number of appliance to be tested as well as other related expenses. What’s more? Most PAT companies will offer a company with a PAT Testing Certificate so as to certify that the company is in total compliance and also remains a safe environment to work.
We can help you get more Electrical testing (pat testing) work and boost your business.
