Cleaning block paving is a fairly straightforward task, although you’ll want to be careful to not use any chemicals that may cause damage to the surface. Use a simple household soap, mixed with water, and brush this across the paving with a stiff brush. Then, simply rinse off with clean water. Alternatively, use a pressure washer – but be careful not to use it on a powerful setting, as this may damage the joints and can cause slabs to come loose. Using the pressure washer on a medium setting and at a 45 degree angle is recommended.
Talybont
Tal-y-Bont is a small town in Conwy County Borough, Wales and also depends on the Conwy Valley, west of the River Conwy, on the B5106 road, 6 miles from the community of Conwy to the north, and 6 miles from Llanrwst to the south, as well as in the area of Caerhun. It lies adjacent to the town of Dolgarrog to the south, and listed below the little settlement of Llanbedr-y-Cennin to the west. The 'Bont' (the altered form of pont, Welsh for "bridge") in the name most likely describes the bridge over the Afon Dulyn, a tributary of the neighboring River Conwy, which goes through the village. Tal-y-Bont is the beginning point for the roadway to Llyn Eigiau and the southern Carneddau hills. Access to the northern end of the Carneddau Range and also the Roman road over to Aberystwyth can also be achieved by following the road up from Tal-y-Bont with Llanbedr-y-Cennin - which is on the eastern side of the Snowdonia National Park - and taking a left fork at the club, Ye Olde Bull Inn, in Llanbedr. Pedestrians can access peaks in the north end of the Carneddau Range such as Drum and Foel Fras, and afterwards continue southern eastern to reach Carnedd Llewelyn.
