Gairloch
Gairloch is a town, civil church and neighborhood on the shores of Loch Gairloch in Wester Ross, in the North-West Highlands of Scotland. A prominent vacationer destination in the summer season, Gairloch has a golf links, a museum, a number of hotels, a variety of shops, Chinese and fish and chip takeaways, an area centre, a recreation centre with sporting activities facilities, a regional radio station, beaches and neighboring mountains. Gairloch is among the principal villages on the North Coastline 500 route. The church of Gairloch crosses a much larger area, including the villages of Poolewe and Kinlochewe, as well as has a populace of 950. The nearby train station lies at Achnasheen, and the nearby mainland airport terminal is in Inverness.
