Frizington
Frizington is a village in Cumbria, England. Historically, it was a collection of ranches as well as homes, but became a combined village as a result of the mining (both coal and also iron ore) opportunities in the location. The village is known for its church, which was integrated in 1867-1868. Historically a part of Cumberland, Frizington remains in the civil parish of Arlecdon and Frizington, which has a population of 3,678, the District of Copeland and also the CA postal code area. On 2 June 2010, Frizington was the scene of the second murder in the murder spree called the Cumbria shootings, when Derrick Bird fired his family solicitor, Kevin Commons. Stephen Holgate, a specialist rugby league gamer with a variety of clubs, originated from Frizington.
