Great Dunmow is a historical market community as well as civil parish in the Uttlesford area of Essex, England. It is located on the north of the A120 road, roughly midway in between Bishop's Stortford and also Braintree, 6 miles east of London Stansted Airport. Originally the site of a Roman negotiation on Stane Street, the community thrived throughout the Middle Ages.
