Leven
Leven is a seaside community in Fife, embeded in the eastern Central Lowlands of Scotland. It lies on the shore of the Firth of Forth at the mouth of the River Leven, 8.1 miles (13.0 kilometres) north-east of the community of Kirkcaldy as well as 6.4 miles (10.3 kilometres) east of Glenrothes. According to a quote taken in 2008, Leven has a population of 8,850. The town develops part of the Levenmouth urban sprawl, which has a complete population of 37,651.
