Ingatestone
Ingatestone is a town in Essex, England, with a population of about 5,000. To the immediate north exists the town of Fryerning, and also with each other the two create the civil church of Ingatestone and Fryerning. Ingatestone exists within Metropolitan Green Belt land 20 miles (32 kilometres) north-east of London. The built-up area is largely situated between the A12 trunk road and also the Great Eastern Main Railway Line. Today it is a wealthy commuter town. The civil parish for the location is regulated by Ingatestone as well as Fryerning Parish Council. Because 1974 the village has been within the Borough of Brentwood, although in earlier times the parish belonged to Chelmsford Rural area, Chelmsford Rural Sanitary District, and Chelmsford Poor Law Union. The village lies within the Chelmsford Hundred. Ingatestone has 2 conservation areas, one covering the railway station and Terminal Lane, and the various other securing the main buying location of High Street.
