Olney
Olney is a market town as well as civil parish in the District of Milton Keynes in South East England. At the 2011 Census, it had a population of around 6,500 people. It lies on the River Great Ouse, very near to the boundaries of Buckinghamshire with Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, and equidistant from Northampton, Bedford as well as Milton Keynes. It is accessed by the M1 at Junction 14 (about 7 miles), with the closest guest rail service at Milton Keynes Central and Bedford train stations (each about twelve miles far-off). It is a preferred traveler destination, probably best recognized for the Olney Pancake Race as well as for the Olney Hymns by William Cowper and also John Newton.
