Kinross
Kinross is a burgh in Perth and also Kinross, Scotland, located around 13 miles (21 kilometres) south of Perth and around 20 miles (32 km) north-west of Edinburgh. It is the conventional county town of the historic county of Kinross-shire. The burgh is located on the coasts of Loch Leven. There are boat trips around the loch as well as to Loch Leven Castle where Mary, Queen of Scots was held prisoner in 1567. Up to 2014 the annual T in the Park songs festival. which was formally changed by TRNSMT festival in Glasgow Environment-friendly, was held close by, at the former Balado landing strip. Balado is also the locale of a now non-active NATO ICBM early caution radar and also throughout the Second World War there was an airstrip and barracks.
