Clarbeston Road
Clarbeston is a town and parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales, 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) east of Haverfordwest. The parish, along with Wiston and also Walton East, make up the community of Wiston. The English placename implies "Clarenbald's farm", Clarenbald being a continental Germanic (maybe Flemish) personal name. The Welsh placename is a translation of the English. Clarbeston Road railway station and also the bordering settlement and message community of Clarbeston Road exist to the west of the village. The parish is close to, or on, the Pembrokeshire language frontier and also has constantly had a somewhat rising and falling percentage of Welsh speakers. The parish had a location of 671 ha (1,660 acres). Its census populations were: 180 (1801 ): 178 (1851 ): 158 (1901 ): 114 (1951 ): 71 (1981 ).
