Isle Of Mull
The Isle of Mull or just Mull is the second-largest island of the Inner Hebrides (after Skye) as well as lies off the west shore of Scotland in the council area of Argyll and Bute. With a location of 875.35 square kilometres (337.97 sq mi), Mull is the fourth-largest Scottish island as well as the fourth-largest island bordering Great Britain (leaving out Ireland). In the 2011 census the normal resident population of Mull was 2,800, which was a minor increase on the 2001 number of 2,667. In the summer season the population is supplemented by lots of visitors. Much of the population lives in Tobermory, the only burgh on the island up until 1973 and its capital. Tobermory is likewise residence to Mull's only solitary malt Scotch whisky distillery, Tobermory distillery (previously Ledaig).
