Knaresborough
Knaresborough is a historical market town, spa town and civil parish in the Borough of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. In the past an area of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is positioned on the River Nidd, 4 miles east from the centre of Harrogate. The town is reported in the Domesday Book of 1086 as 'Cenheard's fortress', with the name of the area undergoing various changes over the next couple of centuries.
