How long your aluminium windows will last depends on their quality. They should last 20 -30 years at least, but have been known to stay in good condition for up to 45 years. This is considerably longer than uPVC and wooden double glazing.
Lyme Regis
Lyme Regis is a town in West Dorset, England, 25 miles (40 kilometres) west of Dorchester and 25 miles (40 km) eastern of Exeter. Styled "The Pearl of Dorset", it lies at Lyme Bay on the English Channel shore at the Dorset-- Devon boundary. It is kept in mind for fossils discovered in cliffs and coastlines on the Heritage Coast or Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. The harbour wall-- called "The Cobb"-- appears in Jane Austen's novel Persuasion, the John Fowles novel The French Lieutenant's Woman, and also the 1981 movie of that name, which was partly fired in the town. A former mayor and also MP was Admiral Sir George Somers, that founded the English colonial settlement of Somers Isles, currently Bermuda, where Lyme Regis is twinned with St George's. In July 2015, Lyme Regis also signed up with Jamestown, Virginia, in a Historical Atlantic Triangle with St George's. The 2011 Census provided the church as well as selecting ward a population of 3,671.
