Dalry
Dalry is a village in the Garnock Valley in Ayrshire, Scotland. Drakemyre is a north residential area. Dalry (from Scottish Gaelic Dail Ruighe, suggesting 'the haugh at the incline') is a tiny negotiation on the Rye Burn. Its background has signs of very early occupants in the area; the remains of an old fort, made of 3 concentric round wall surfaces, can be discovered on the top of Carwinning Hill to the North of Dalry, west of the B784 to Largs.
