Barnoldswick
Barnoldswick, usually known as Barlick, is a town and civil parish in the English county of Lancashire. Close to the county border with North Yorkshire, it is close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town is built in the shadow of Weets Hill, and Stock Beck, a tributary of the River Ribble, can be seen flowing through the town. As recorded in the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent resident population of 11005. It is located about 30 miles (48 kilometres) from the cities of Leeds, Manchester and Preston. Close by towns are Skipton to the east, Clitheroe towards the west, Burnley to the south and Keighley to the southeast.
