North Ferriby
North Ferriby is a town as well as civil parish in the Haltemprice area of the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Ferriby parish had a population of 3,893, a rise on the 2001 UK census figure of 3,819 according to the 2011 UK census. The college has around 300 pupils. North Ferriby is on the north financial institution of the Humber Estuary, about 8 miles (13 kilometres) west of Hull city centre. To the north, atop a hillside, exists Swanland using the B1231. South Ferriby is straight contrary the town, on the south financial institution of the Humber. North Ferriby is generally referred to as "Ferriby" by citizens on the north bank, except where confusion may occur. Melton is close by to the west which is where the big South Hunsley School is. North Ferriby depends on the Parliamentary constituency of Haltemprice and also Howden.
