North Ferriby
North Ferriby is a village as well as civil parish in the Haltemprice location of the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Ferriby parish had a population of 3,893, an increase on the 2001 UK census figure of 3,819 according to the 2011 UK census. The college has approximately 300 students. North Ferriby gets on the north bank of the Humber Estuary, about 8 miles (13 km) west of Hull city centre. To the north, atop a hillside, lies Swanland by means of the B1231. South Ferriby is directly opposite the village, on the south financial institution of the Humber. North Ferriby is typically referred to as "Ferriby" by citizens on the north bank, other than where complication might arise. Melton is close by to the west which is where the big South Hunsley School is. North Ferriby depends on the Parliamentary constituency of Haltemprice and Howden.
