Appreciated info on heating systems for our future home in Bradwell Village.
We had a most interesting conversation including the musical connections of the firm. I originally went on the website not to ask about oil boilers but heat pumps. (The website does not make this at all clear - it asks what form of heating I have at the moment and not want I actually want.) However, Bob Smith was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and is sending full details.

ok pricey but not for the ELECTRIC boiler I was wanting !
This company responded very quickly and the survey was very thorough however the quotation provided was almost twice as much as a highly rated local firm. I was surprised that Quotatis picked this company as ‘local’ to my address as there are competitive and reliable local companies only 9 miles away as opposed to 44 miles away! I feel the backup for this company servicing and maintaining the new boiler could have been problematic at such a distance.

The man that came spent a lot of time telling me i did not want what i wanted he did his best to tell me i needed oil not gas LPG was not the thing to use. The opening message was all about how they were related to Elgar the composer and the prices were over £7000
Refused to entertain installing a replacement combi boiler. Wanted to sell and expensive alternative including hot water tank. This person must have watched Video Arts John Cleese production of 'Who sold you this then?' He achi3eved most of the points in the film that should be avoided.

They came did an assessment but did not get back to me re any sort of price or and sort of timescale as to how long it would take. The consultant also did not provide any info regarding tanks where the heated water would be placed.
They we excellent in arranging appointment and attending the next day and giving a written detailed quotation the following day,we without question use them to install new boiler/oil tank if and when we decide to move from LPG !! As our boiler is only 12 years old we may try to keep it going for a few years more at which time we will have no hesitation in contacting Sterland and Elgar
