The Squibb Group are a nationwide multi-skilled business that has been established for nearly 70
years specialising in all sorts of building preparation services. One of these services is asbestos
removal and management. The Squibb group has held a Health & Safety executive licence since 1982
and has vast experience in the safe removal, treatment and disposal of asbestos materials from all
types of buildings and structures. The Squibb Group are also members of ARCA (Asbestos Removal
Contractors Association) and ACAD (Asbestos Control and Abatement Division) independent trade
organisations.

value for money projects of all sizes and complexity in all private and public sectors including,
residential, commercial, industrial plus pre-refurbishment building preparation.
Our asbestos division operates teams of highly and continuously trained Site Operatives,
Supervisors, Contract/Project managers and Planners who are all directly employed by the Squibb
Group to ensure complete control over whole asbestos removal process, ensuring a high quality
outcome in all respects for our clients. Our site teams are all well presented in company branded
uniforms, arriving on site with Company branded vehicles and equipment and by nature are very
polite, professional and considerate, respecting the fact that they are generally working within other
people’s properties.
The Squibb Group will always ensure on all projects that the client is informed in advance as to what
to expect with regards project program, access requirements, potential disruption to our clients
normal everyday business. The Squibb Group does fully appreciate that sometimes our operations
can involve disruption, but with good communications and careful planning, we aim to reduce any
disruption to a bare minimum.
All our asbestos removals are conducted in accordance with the statutory requirements made under
the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR). To ensure we conform to these regulations, we will
on occasions be required to visit the proposed site to price and collect information to prepare our
site specific Plans of Works, Risk Assessments. We do advise our clients if this is a requirement at a
very early stage of the process.
Asbestos surveying/sampling:
The Squibb Group can also offer an UKAS accredited asbestos survey/sampling survey service in the
cases where the client is unsure whether the material they require removal is an ACM (Asbestos
Containing Material.
An asbestos survey/sampling exercise is needed prior to planning any asbestos removal to ensure in
the first instanced that the material is an ACM, plus the results of sampling if positive will determine
the correct asbestos removal method.
