Paving & Driveway | Slab in Gerrards Cross

Pre work:
Good telephone manner and had courtesy to notify me when running 20 mins behind schedule which I appreciated as unusually polite. He was very enthusiastic and confident whilst here. However, I think he underestimated job. His quote was just under £600 which only excluded replacing broken stones. I thought this was too cheap considering a skip alone would be £250 and didn't see how he could do the job without one. The next cheapest quote was £2,300 (this included stone flags which I originally paid £6-700 for so that is a comfy £1500 on labour and materials). There was no discussion of how difficult it would be to replace individual stones (due to needing to find exact size as not machine cut and the fact my stone had weathered for two years) so I wanted to go with someone who understood the job better.
