Mr Hawkins called round the day after I contacted him and assessed the work in a clear and knowledgeable manner. He arrived when he said he would to carry out the work and he and his partner made an excellent job under difficult circumstances as the exit from the garden was very narrow. The area was left in a clean and tidy condition and both gentlemen were pleasant and polite throughout. I would recommend them and will most likely book them for further work in the future.

Michael was the only company suggested by Quotatis, but as it was, he was brilliant. Michael contacted me the very same day and arranged to come out to quote for the job, then appointment of which he arrived with his colleague to spend over 5 hours giving much TLC to my oversized and almost out of control Walnut tree. Result is now a beautifully shaped, balanced, healthy tree of which I can now once again see the beautiful trunk and branches. A highly professional job by Michael carried out with great care not only for the tree but also my property. I highly recommend Michael's Tree Service

Quick contact, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced.
Excellent, would definitely use them again. I chose Michael to reduce my large ash tree because he's a professional arborist as well as tree surgeon. He reduced it consistent with maintaining its natural shape and growing points. Access was rather restricted but wasn't a problem for him and his colleague. They arrived at 9.30am and were finished by 2pm. They left my garden tidier than it was to start with and swept away all leaves and debris.

The task was to remove 4 large cypress trees from the back of the garden. This was the only company who suggested to remove trees without going through the house. This reduced the hassle and the price. They took care of plants around I asked for (but you better not forget to specify any precious plants), moved the garden shed to ensure that it is not damaged (and returned it back), and cut the trunks into 'step stones' as I asked for no extra charge. Would definitely recommend.

I had already sourced two other companies which have quoted, and it is unlikely that I will use Michael's Tree Services, but that is not really their fault. They were pretty efficient but simply did not ask as many questions as the others, which made me slightly doubt their aptitude for the job.
