Excellent phone and personal contact from Keith Barnes. Major error made though by booking our installation for the wrong day causing great inconvenience and discomfort. Resolved a day later but wrong specs given to designated engineers resulting in incorrect flue kits being issued, causing inconvenience and slight delay. A little annoyed that when they removed the old thermostat and trunking, not enough care taken and wallpaper ripped. However, so far, it is performance is correctly set up and we look forward to a warmer and more efficient gas heated water and radiator system. We understand we are to receive a follow up visit to check the standard of installation from Keith Barnes. This has yet to be arranged at time of writing this review.

The first recommendation was John Wilkinson..He very kindly made contact with us over the weekend...which was ideal as we were so worried to be without a boiler which was deemed economically unfit for repair....He gave us some hope that we were going to get help very quickly as we are both in our late seventies... We took the quotation from John Wilkinson as although it was more expensive than expected for some new pipework a new boiler,filter, inhibitor and Wave system. John's sales and presentation skills and knowledge gave us confidence in his company. Though he did laugh with the plumber saying I was frightened of the Wave technology in a condesending and rude manner. The work was carried out the day after and as it was early December we were grateful. Plus the Diamond accreditation helped easy our minds. The day after installation we noticed that one of our two bedroom radiators was cold and the other making a gurgling noise. We realised that the plumber Mike had turned one radiator off. We turned it back on obviously as the room was cold and topped up the system as we had been told the day before. The next morning and in fact every time since when the heating starts both of these radiators gurgle loudly and as the heating stats at 6.30am we are awoken almost every day by it. Obviously we contacted John. He was rather disinterested. No plumber came to fix this problem although we have asked several times. Our bill came after two weeks just before Christmas and within a day of it's receipt John was on the phone asking for me to pay by bank transfer - I was in the car and was upset by this and told him so. He admitted problems with a new billing system and apologised. I paid by cheque in full. He agreed to send someone to look at the noisy radiators. We then had to cancel this as my sister was very ill and taken into hospital where she dies just before Christmas. After the New Year and funeral etc we contacted John again. After several attempts he agreed to send someone two weeks ago. They never came that day. I have waited for him to follow this up but he does not. Whilst I can applaud his sales techniques and knowledge his after sales and problem solving is terrible. Getting the money from you for a quick installation is one thing but no customer support or assistance is offered. If all goes well you will be fine. But we are still after 2 months waiting for a visit tofix the radiator problem. We have a very expensive gurgling alarm clock. We look forward to hearing from John. Contacted John Wilkinson at 9.00am on Monday morning and he said he would be at my home before 12.00pm to quote for my replacement boiler. He was true to his word. After agreeing a price , the boiler etc was fitted the next day Tuesday as arranged. Richard the fitter worked very hard all day fitting the boiler and finished about 5.30pm. He was very pleasant and didnt leave until he had explained how everything worked and made sure I was happy with everything before he left. Very good service with rapid installation. Keep up the good work and thanks again.

A home survey was completed on the same day I put the job on. The surveyor went through all options and was very appreciative of the situation I was in, he was very professional and made a better price offer on better terms than the original quote from British Gas. The initial processes were very good and the team that came to fit the boiler were great. Mr Wilkinson however was a different matter after he told me that the boiler his company had just fitted was connected to a very old single pipe system. After he discovered this he took his money and became very difficult to get hold off. He eventually gave me a reluctant price to re pipe the central heating, but then after many messages, I couldn't get hold of him. I have since got two other plumbers in to take a look at the system and they have confirmed it is a two pipe system. Mr Wilkinson just seems interested in lucrative boiler fitting, he wasn't prepared to resolve this major concern, so I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

From initial visit on the Monday and completion the whole job was completed in 5 days. I explained to John that we had not had any central heating for last 10 days and he rescheduled his workload to come and install on the Friday. His team worked throughout the day, getting around unforseen problems with hidden piping, on the day John also came back to make sure we were happy with work. This company did everything and more than you would expect and would not hesitate in recommending them to family and friends. (Fantastic)
Very accommodating and because we'd been without heating for over a week they shuffled work schedule and replaced the boiler very quickly. Installation was completed on the day with all waste cleared. Would not hesitate in recommending this company to friends and family.
