Quick, efficient and friendly and the end result- stump removal- was excellent.
Three companies came and quoted competitive rates, two further rang me a week later. By then I had contracted for Holroyd to do the work.
Excellent, could not have been better.
Did a very good job but was disappointed with £150 for 20 mins work. Excessive I think.

Alex and co were the only tree surgeons that actually got back to me. They did a fantastic job and my apple tree has a lovely shape to it now. Also gained some light from it being reduced. The price was right ans cleared up behi d them. Woyld recommended them, a few people already stopped and asked them questions when outside mt property. Pleasant and polite, very professional. Great job and very happy.

It seems unrealistic to give 5 stars for every aspect but Holroyd were great from start to finish and when they were done they cleared every single twig and leaf from my trees. Excellent
No problem with Holroyd Tree Co. but the Quotatis system did not allow the option to accurately describe the services I required, or it was not forwarded to Holroyd, or Holroyd did not read it. I need a report on the state of a tree, but this option was not available on the Quotatis system, the nearest option being a crown reduction. The tree had a crown reduction 4 years ago, so certainly does not need another. I explained this in the text box in the Quotatis system, but Holroyd appear unaware of the this. I submitted an image of the tree to Quotatis as requested. Holroyd has just asked me to send them an image of the tree. Was the original not forwarded? I was expecting 4 companies to contact me, not just one. I'm in text discussion about writing the report, the cost, what is covered and so on. Their quote is competitive and if they answer my questions about indemnities, then I will employ them to write the report.

There was a most unfortunate misunderstanding about their quotation. it clearly stated 'Dismantle and remove fallen Mulberry tree' and 'All waste will be chipped and removed from site.' the job was excellently completed except that they left me with the large uprooted stump. They claimed that this was not included because they were tree surgeons and not stump grinders. I had to pay up nevertheless.
