Effectiveness by Design has been established for over 15 years, with clients throughout Surrey, London and the Home Counties. We are driven by one overriding principle: excellent, achievable design to meet your needs. Our designs are fresh and compelling. From conversion to extension or rebuild, Effectiveness by Design applies the same high levels of creative excellence with attention to management detail and cost control.

Choose from our design and planning-consent service only, or add project management for complete peace-of-mind. We begin with a no-obligation consultation: discussing your aims and ideas with you, talking about budgets and providing a cost for preparation of drawings. We will discuss the idiosyncrasies of each local authority and the planning approvals process.

Approval-to-proceed results in initial designs being drawn and discussed with you in detail before plans are finalised. Effectiveness by Design will then handle the full local authority planning application and Building Regulations process, including Certificates of Lawfulness where required. You are free to use your own builders and tradesmen for construction and finishing or you can choose from our own approved builders and tradesmen.
