Bankswood Treecare is a friendly run business based in the High Peak National Park.
We have £5 million public liability insurance and all our work is carried in accordance with guidelines set out in the British Standards for tree works (BS3998).
We follow strict guidelines in relation to birds nesting and roosting or hibernating bats as well as other wildlife, we will liaise with the appropriate authorities if the need arises.
Our aim is to waste nothing and recycle everything possible by composting the wood chip from the smaller branches. Our timber is added to our large stock of logs and seasoned for two years ready for log burners/fires.
We have all the latest equipment needed to carry out work efficiently and safely in Glossop and around the North West and Derbyshire.
The equipment we use includes cranes, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, timber trailers, safety harnesses and chainsaws.

Amazed and delighted at the speed of response- about an hour I think for the phonecall, and Gareth called that same afternoon - and the professionalism and politeness. Appointment made for the work to be done
Excellent.They were great guys, one guy got into the trees while the other stayed on the ground so together they could decide how best to trim in order to keep the shape.Cleared away all the little bits as well not just the branches.Would recommend them.
The company did the job in a day at a reasonable price but they cut the rose tree while they were warned not to do that which was a serious disappointment.
