Immingham
Immingham is a town, civil parish and ward in the North East Lincolnshire unitary authority of England. It lies on the southwest bank of the Humber Estuary, and is around 6 miles (10 km ) north-west from Grimsby. The area was generally unpopulated and undeveloped until the beginning of the 1900s, when the Great Central Railway started establishing its Immingham Dock. The docks were linked to their major supply of labour in Grimsby by the Grimsby and Immingham Electric Railway, which opened 1912.
