Iver is a large civil parish in the South Bucks district of Buckinghamshire, England. In addition to the main clustered village, the parish consists of the predominately residential neighbourhoods of Iver Heath and Richings Park. London is approximately 17 miles (30 km) to the east. Local woods, lakes and land by the Grand Union Canal form part of the 43-square-mile Colne Valley regional park. Most of the open land is categorised as Metropolitan Green Belt. The location covers an overall location of around 7.8 square miles. According to the 2011 Census, Iver has a permanent resident population of around 11119 people. Settlements have a pre-Domesday foundation and Neolithic pottery pieces and other artefacts have been uncovered. The village church has bits of a Saxon window, and elements dating from the 15th century, 16th century and 17th century can be seen. The village has several houses from the 16th and 17th centuries. There is a number of sporting and cultural options for residents. Developed by John Hargreaves in 1948, the Iver Heath Drama Club added to the construction of the current village hall. The group produces plays and pantomimes. In 2008, it commemorated 60 years by performing The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The Sports Centre is based in Iver, which is in the south of the District. The centre is run by Greenwich Leisure Limited. Facilities feature a multi-purpose sports hall, dance studio, lounge (with adjoining kitchen space), sunbed, outdoor floodlit artificial surface pitch, grass soccer pitches and a changing facility and fitness suite with equipment including a nautilus tread climber. The fitness suite provides pieces of equipment produced to be accessible to those individuals with minimal mobility. FAQs

How big is a 4 yard skip?

Generally, 4-yard skips are basically designed for small clean or clear out projects or residential use. If you want to carry out a small renovation task or to clear out your home, you simply can not ignore the disposal of your unwanted waste. You’ll save yourself some time, money and potential accidents by hiring a 4-yard skip that will do the job effectively. We are all aware how time consuming it is making several trips to the local waste disposal centre.

When talking about the size of a 4-yard skip, it runs beyond its capacity. Skips of small sizes can be easily accommodated in not too large spaces which can be in the garden or driveway which saves you the stress and money of having to acquire skip hire permits.

If you’d like to know the the size of a 4 yard skip in metres, we’ve got you fully covered for both imperial and metric! The answer is provided below:

Imperial - Width 4’3, Height 3’2

Metric - Width 1.29m, Height 0.972m

It is, however, important to take note that when hiring a skip the measurement might be a bit tricky. The ‘4 yard’ term implies the capacity of the skip and not the length. The actual length of a 4 yard skip is only 6 feet or 2 yards. As a result, before you hire a skip, there’s the need to be clear as to the measurement you’re looking for. Otherwise, you might end up hiring the wrong skip and having to get another. Not good for your pocket, right? Well, that’s why we’ve provided this answer to help you in the best possible way!
